1.Who can cancel
Each Workspace has its own subscription. The Workspace Owner or an Admin can manage it. Members cannot cancel.
2.How to cancel
- Open the Workspace and go to Settings → Plan & Subscription.
- Select “Cancel subscription” and confirm.
- The page then shows the date the cancellation takes effect. Until that date, an Owner or Admin can select “Undo cancellation” to keep the subscription renewing.
The cancel and undo options appear only when the subscription’s current state allows them — for example, they are not shown while a plan change or a payment issue is being processed. In rare cases, changes made very close to a renewal date may not take effect until the following period.
If you cannot sign in or the option is not available, you can manage the purchase through Paddle’s buyer support at paddle.net, or contact us through the Contact page.
3.What happens after cancelling
A confirmed cancellation stops the subscription from renewing after its effective date. Full access normally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for; after that, the subscription ends.
Cancellation does not undo charges or obligations that arose before it took effect, and billing records are kept as described in our Privacy Policy. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply.
4.Access stages
A Workspace’s access moves through these stages:
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Trial | Seven days from Workspace creation. Full access; up to 5 active members and 10 GB of storage. No payment card required. |
| Active paid subscription | Full access during the verified paid period, including after a cancellation is scheduled, until that period ends. |
| Payment grace | Where applicable, if a renewal payment fails, full access continues for a seven-day grace period while payment is retried or updated. |
| Read-only | For the first 90 days after paid access ends, members can sign in and view data but cannot create or change content. Ordinary Workspace exports and Executive Presentation Mode are unavailable. |
| Locked, recoverable | From day 91 through day 180 after paid access ends, the Workspace is locked. Its data is retained and access can be restored with a new subscription. |
| Deletion eligible | After day 180 the Workspace becomes eligible for a retention and deletion review. Automatic permanent deletion is not currently enabled; any future deletion process will be announced in this policy before it applies. |
Please export anything you need while you still have full access. Ordinary Workspace exports and Executive Presentation Mode are not available in restricted stages. We do not promise indefinite retention, and we do not currently delete Workspaces automatically.
5.Reactivating
Before the cancellation takes effect
Select “Undo cancellation” in Settings → Plan & Subscription. The existing subscription continues and renews as normal.
After the subscription has ended
While the Workspace and its data are still retained, an Owner or Admin can restore access by purchasing a new subscription from Settings → Plan & Subscription. Access is restored once Paddle confirms the payment, and the Workspace’s retained data becomes editable again.
Reactivation is generally available during the read-only and locked stages. After day 180 the Workspace may be reviewed for deletion, so reactivation is possible only while it has not been deleted; we do not guarantee it indefinitely.
6.Cancellation is not a refund
Cancellation stops future renewal. It does not, by itself, guarantee a refund of payments already made. Whether you are entitled to a refund depends on Paddle’s Refund Policy and the mandatory consumer rights that apply to you — see the Refund Policy for how to request one.
